Madshus Redline Classic K2 2025 Skis

The Redline Classic K2 features Madshus' Carbon Power Wrap core construction and the new Power Edge which is a durable, offset edge designed for maximum stability and edge control. A tall camber construction with the highest point of the camber positioned right at the balance point is combined with shorter snow contact areas making this our most universal classic ski. As a result, the camber height strikes a good balance between being high enough to provide carrying capacity for the majority of klister wax applications, while still being low enough to provide ample grip with hard grip waxes.

 

This ski performs best with slightly thicker wax applications, which can mean klister, covered klister, or stickier hard grip waxes depending on the snow conditions and wax application. Additionally, the camber of the Redline Classic K2 is developed to react dynamically to the force you generate. The wax pocket is designed to remain open during double poling, for near-frictionless glide, and to close symmetrically from both the front and the rear of the pocket as load is applied. This construction ensures the optimal distribution of the generated power across the whole wax zone, maximizing the total grip force that can be generated and resulting in better grip the harder you kick.
