Warranty Policy

At Demers Bicyclettes et Skis de Fond, we are committed to providing quality products and ensuring customer satisfaction. Our warranty policy is as follows:

  1. Vehicles (Bicycles, Trailers, and Similar Accessories)Manufacturer's Warranty: All bicycles and trailers purchased at Demers Bicyclettes et Skis de Fond are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The duration and conditions of this warranty vary by brand and model. Please refer to the manufacturer's manual or contact our team for specific details. • Warranty Conditions: The warranty only covers manufacturing defects and does not apply to damage caused by: o Normal wear and tear o Improper use or lack of maintenance o Accidents or damage caused by third parties o Unauthorized modifications of the product • Warranty Service: For any warranty claims, the product must be returned to our store along with proof of purchase. We will handle the inspection and coordination with the manufacturer.

  2. Parts and AccessoriesParts Warranty: Spare parts and accessories sold are covered by a 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation or misuse. • Replacement or Repair Conditions: If a defect is found, we will evaluate whether the part should be repaired or replaced, depending on the manufacturer's warranty conditions.

  3. Clothing and Safety Equipment • Clothing and safety equipment (cycling shorts, helmets, etc.) are covered by a 30-day warranty against manufacturing defects. However, due to the nature of these items, no exchanges or refunds will be granted after use.

  4. Maintenance and RepairsRepair Warranty: All repairs performed in our workshop are guaranteed for 30 days from the date of service. This warranty covers labor defects and does not apply to installed parts, which are governed by the manufacturer's warranty conditions.

  5. General Exclusions • The warranty does not apply to products purchased on clearance or sale, unless otherwise specified. • Products that have been modified or repaired by an unauthorized person will lose their warranty coverage.

  6. Claim Process To initiate a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

    1. Contact our customer service with the product details and a description of the issue.
    2. Provide valid proof of purchase. (Any product not purchased from Demers Bicyclettes et Skis de Fond will incur a $50 warranty processing fee.)
    3. Bring the product to our store or contact us via email for an evaluation. If the claim is approved, we will coordinate the replacement or repair according to the warranty conditions.
