Madshus Redline Skin Skis
Description
The Redline Skin is a racing quality skin ski for classic technique training and racing without grip waxes. Featuring a similar construction to the rest of our Redline Classic skis, but with an integrated 100% Mohair skin in the wax pocket, the Redline Skin provides consistent grip and glide in all conditions without the need for grip waxes.
Madshus uses a progressive milling profile which is deepest at the front and rear of the skin zone, and shallowest in the middle. This mimics the way you would wax your skis, and makes for a more natural skin skiing experience and greatly improves glide in both downhills and in double poling.

| Features | PR 100X Core A high-performance Rohacell foam core with extreme strength-to-weight characteristics and excellent damping qualities. Pre-formed to our 3D shape and reinforced with triaxial braiding, to maximize strength, optimize stiffness, and save weight. Triaxial Construction Interlocking strands of fiberglass and carbon fiber surround the entire core, producing excellent torsional rigidity and strength with light weight and a lively response. Tuned Dynamic Response A new special layup of carbon combined with a synchronized camber profile provides exceptional return of energy while optimizing the glide surfaces of the ski through the entire push-off phase, improving the feel for the snow while retaining the speed. Fluor Free Ski Bases Everyone in our sport benefits from nature’s beauty, which is why Madshus is working hard to minimize our effect on the environment that we all hold so dear. Skis marked with the «Fluor Free Ski Bases» logo indicate exactly that: a ski which does not use fluorocarbons in the base material. |
