This new point of rotation is optimized for stability, power, and efficiency as additional energy can be precisely transferred through the leg and foot into the snow. The boot also features our new RED Carbon Chassis with a lower, wider base for improved stability, power transfer, and control. The new Madshus Pro Ripstop upper and Race Wrap 2.0 innerboot construction is designed for a snug fit and a precise connection with the ski. The Rottefella SkateX system is the first binding system designed specifically for skate skiing where the point of rotation has been optimized for stability, power and efficiency. The Redline Skate X boot combines the compact interface between the boot and binding for a stiffer connection, increased power transfer and lateral stability.
